Quick Start

Features Overview

📤 Upload Images

• Drag & drop images into the drop zone


• Multiple uploads - Add more images to existing list


• Auto-sort - Images sorted alphabetically


• Duplicate prevention - Same file won't be added twice


• Image info - Shows resolution, DPI, and dimensions in mm




📚 Book-Based Presets



• Select Book - Choose from configured books


• Width Presets - Percentage-based widths (100%, 2/3, 1/2, etc.)


• Auto Height - Height calculated automatically from image proportions


• Refresh - Reload book configurations




🎛️ Processing Parameters



Dimensions:

• Width in mm (auto-calculated from book preset)


• Height auto-calculated to maintain aspect ratio


Image Adjustments:

• Rotation - 0°, 90°, 180°, 270°


• Brightness - -100 to +100 (click value to reset)


• Contrast - -100 to +100 (click value to reset)


• Auto Levels - Automatic brightness/contrast optimization


• Sharpen - Enhance image details


• Grayscale - Convert to black & white


Output:

• DPI - 72 (Web), 150 (Screen), 300 (Print), 600 (High Quality)


• Quality - 0-100 (JPEG compression)


Manual Crop:

• Enable crop checkbox


• Enter pixels to remove from Top, Bottom, Left, Right


• Applied before resize




👁️ Preview



• Click eye icon on any image to preview


• Toggle - Switch between Original ↔ Processed


• Restore - Reset all adjustments to default


• Auto-update - Preview refreshes automatically when you change parameters




⚙️ Batch Processing



• Select All - Checkbox to select/deselect all images


• Individual selection - Check specific images to process


• Delete - Remove individual images or all at once


• Progress bar - Shows current processing status


• Auto-download - Processed images download automatically




📊 Processing History



• Last 20 operations saved automatically


• Shows: filename, dimensions (original → processed), parameters used


• Stored in browser (localStorage)

Workflow Examples





Basic Workflow



• Select book: "My Book"


• Choose width: "163mm (100%)"


• Upload images


• Click "Process Images"




Advanced Workflow with Adjustments



• Upload images


• Click Preview on first image


• Adjust Brightness: +20


• Enable Sharpen


• Check preview (auto-updates)


• Click Restore if needed


• Process all images with same settings




Selective Processing



• Upload 10 images


• Preview and adjust settings


• Uncheck images you don't want to process


• Click "Process Images" - only checked images processed

Tips




• Preview First - Always preview one image before batch processing


• Brightness/Contrast - Click the number to quickly reset to 0


• Crop Info - Enable crop shows current image dimensions


• History - Use history to remember successful settings


• Auto Height - Never enter height manually - it's automatic

Keyboard Shortcuts




• Ctrl+Shift+R - Hard refresh (clears cache)

Technical Info




• Input formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF


• Output format: JPEG with configurable quality and DPI


• Processing: Server-side using PHP GD library


• Storage: Images temporarily uploaded, processed in memory


• History: Stored in browser localStorage (persists between sessions)
